I have always been active. At the age of 63 however, I became worried about bone health and noticed I had begun to lose muscle. I began working with Julie hoping to gain some strength and maintain or improve my level of fitness. I haven’t looked back!
Julie has a passion for fitness and great industry knowledge! Having a medical background myself, I appreciate her understanding not just of strength training, but anatomy, physiology as well as nutrition.
From week to week, Julie presents me with new and interesting workouts and challenges. She is concerned about my safety and form in the gym. Julie is non-judgmental, and patient but knows when to push me saying “you’ve got this!”
Two years later I feel strong and fit. We laughed the other day comparing some of my starting weights to where I am today. I can’t wait to see what’s next!
